Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What kind of books do you write?
A: I write historical fiction set in mid-20th century America, focused on faith, family, and the quiet battles we carry inside.
Q: Are these Christian novels? Or romance novels?
A: No on both counts. My stories wrestle with Catholic themes and characters, but they’re written for a general historical fiction audience. If you like Geraldine Brooks or Mary Doria Russell, you’ll find a familiar balance of history and humanity here. The novels also explore themes of love, but are not category historical romance and don’t include the traditional happily ever after.
Q: Who should read your books?
A: Perfect for book clubs and readers who enjoy character-driven historical fiction with moral complexity, forbidden romance, and a richly detailed 1940s American setting.
